Childern are messed up as it is with separated/divorced parents, can you imagin what it must be like for a little girl growing up with two fathers? asking questions and getting educated answers, but in all honesty the father dosen't know what the hell he's talking about because he isn't female. bottom line. i can say i'm something i'm not, heck, i can act like it, smell like it, and live like it, the fact is that i'm not what ever im PRETENDING to be.

Firstly they are not any more or less likely to be gay (so it isn't something you learn or somehow aquire), and they are just like normal chidlren. Some of them grow up a bit faster because they get teased but the same thing would happen if both their parrents where obese! there are some who bring up the argument that the children need both a mother and a father figure. But children will find those wherever they can. With that logic then single and divorced parents should not be allowed to keep their children. Somehow I don't think that's a very good idea.

2004-08-22 [Snowboarding Hobitz]: another point. men and women think diffrently, in a role of husband and wife a husband's basic role is to provide for their families, men are "programed" in diffrent ways than women. wives are the nurturers in the family, they have maternal instincts for their famlies. if you put two of the smae together, it wont' be an accurately working home invironment. if you have some double A batteries and you put the positive sides together instead of positive and negative, whatever it is your trying to work won't function. no matter how hard you try. homosexual marriage is un-natural. 

2004-08-22 [Pale-Suzie]: well that might have been true a 100 years ago, but today there's lots of families where the mother works and the dad stays at home. sorry but i don't have any plans of becoming a house mom, and getting told that women are 'programed' to take care of the family and take care of children and pretty much just that annoys me, because we live in a world where it doesn't have to be like that. unnatural or not, it works jsut fine.

It doesn't seem to have any ill effects on the chldren or the operation of the household. I would also think that children are better off with two parents who love each other of the same sex, than two hetero parents who hate each other, or just one parent. *shrugs* define natural.

Single and devorced parents have diffrent circumstances, if you have an abusive father, your not going to want to keep your child in that invironment, and chances are, the parent will get remarried, or have a figure of the opposite sex in the childs life

If the child does not have a father or mother figure they pick one from around them. Such as an aunt or uncle, or a teacher or babysitter. They find someone to be influenced by. I grew up fast, but that's because I am so much more intelligent that most people. I began noticing things a lot earlier and I stopped putting up with the BS at a very early age. I never did worry too much or involve myself in that silly high school soap opera bull crap that most teens seem to think is the most important thing in the world.

2004-08-23 [HiddenFire]: That may be. I'm definately attracted to women but that usually only lasts long enough for me to get to know them. Then I end up loathing them. Lately though I have been able to see what girls might actually see in us guys. There are a few that are unmistakably good looking. @.@

The only thing holding them together is some twisted sense of loyalty. Of course my mom dated my dad when she was in high school but my dad was allready out of school at the time so that doesn't really count. @.@ (they've been married for at least 20 some odd years.)

Most problems in any relationship are from lack of or mis-communication. So most of them time I just say "you know things are crazy, they're going through a lot right now and even though it's not ok for them to take it out on you, you should at least understand that they still love you." *shrugs* I wonder If I'm going to be seriously screwed up because I actually help my parents with their relationship? @.@

2004-08-23 [Queen Ester]: hey curly_gurl, most people can look at people of the same gender and of the opposite and tell whether or not they're beautiful both on the outside and on the inside. Sometimes people confuse sexual attraction with regular attraction, the kind you have for people you like and admire. I'm a teenager too, and right now most of us have tons of emotions inside and its hard to sort them out. If you think you're sexually attracted to another girl, ask yourself if this could just be regular attraction in disguise.
